Default autolite platinum sparks plugs need to be gapped???

i just bought autolite platinum spark plugs. the guy at the store said he wasnt sure if they need to be gapped because on the computer it didnt say anything about gapping them.. and i checked the autolite website and they say gap is set at .052. does this mean that they are already gapped? or do i need to gap them to my cars specs??

i've been gapping my plugs all the time before to my cars specs, so i was just wondering.. it sucks..im going from NGK IX Iridium plugs to platinum.. I hate to change them, but they are messed up.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS check your gap before you put them in. How do you know they've been gapped correctly.
