Just found out a friend of mine had a rocket and no one ever knew about it...
Kind of an odd story. I was with my sisters husbands brother this morning taking docks out. When we were done he dropped me off at my house, and was checkin out my bike. He was talking about it like he knew more about them than he let on. Out of nowhere, he says he used to have a zx9r when he was 18, which would have been about 4-5 years ago. He only rode it like 6-10 times before he got rid of it.
At the time, he was living out in colorado and all his family is from MN, he never told anyone about it probably because they wouldnt have been real happy.
Anyway, we started talking, and i asked him why he only had it for such a short time. He said he laid it down in the mountains, and it scared him to the point he got rid of it.
I guess the mountain rodes where he was were pretty nice roads, lotta twisties and incline/declines, etc... He was rounding a pretty open corner "long wide drawn out corner" doing around 120-130 mph. Outta nowhere an Elk pops off the side of the mountain and runs through the road. He said he had enough time to think alittle, but not much time for anything else due to the speed. He stomped the rear brake to kick the bike out to the side, and used his inside foot to shove off the bike a bit before impact. He slid down the road a ways, Jeans, Jacket, gloves, helmet, boots. He held up fine, no broken bones, a little rash on his right leg, but no more than you would have from a slow lowside. He was lucky. I guess the bike slid under the elk, taking out 3 of the 4 legs totally crippleing it, and leaving it on the road crying so to say.
Within like 10 min of freaking out someone stopped and gave him a ride to town. The state patrol ended up going out and shooting the elk and having some company clean it up.
Anyway, it was cool to find out hes into bikes, but sad to hear about what happened. He says hes now at the stage in his life where another bike should be coming soon.

We didnt get to into the details of the accident, but he doesnt have any scars on his body from the accident. i dont know if he slid off the road and on the shoulder or what, but he was lucky.

I dont know, its possible, i dont peg him for a liar. I know its not probable, but i think its possible. I know people that have gone down @ 15 mph and broken a leg and fingers and some rash, and people that have gone down at 60mph and nothing but some scuffed leathers.
Who knows

I have no ****** clue what that means. People need to stop that ****.
looks to me like a 7 word phrase, which in my opinion is to damn long to abbreaviate with single letters.

Man, I thought he actually had a solid fuel rocket he was building to go to space or something no one knew about. Now I'm dissapointed.
