Dry Cell Battery Box Hatchback Legality
I've been looking at the Moroso battery box for quite some time. Since it's the only NHRA legal box I've seen to use in a hatchback, due to the vent.
I was wondering though, if you were to use a Dry Cell Optima type battery instead of a liquid type battery... would you need to Moroso box to be considered NHRA legal?

Im not sure on the answer to your questions, but JEGS has a cheaper battery box very similar to the moroso box that is also legal.
Thanks for your replies. I had already ordered the Moroso about 30 minutes or so after I posted this. I like that it fits a little snugger, and the dimensions of the actual box are much more appealing to where I want to put it. It was worth the extra $50 or so.
I didn't know about the NHRA rule on the box to that extent, thanks for that!
