Finally... the daytona
Jeeze, I was beginning to think it was a myth or a bad dream about Mervyns...but the daytona finally arrived.
Not to bad of condition, but it will need some hard work to make presentable.

Yeah really. How's it run?
If you want a show bike, you already have that 250. The Daytona looks absolutely fine.

Well, after this weekend I am inclined to believe you. I went by the top dog shop in the usa, which is MotoCarerra (MotoCarerra.com) here in so cal. The daytona is in much better condition than many of there current bikes, and the RD250a was off the charts. funny, I told the owner while I was there that I just got a new, "mint", rd250a and he said without hesetation, that bike has several first places.... hahahahaha, he new the bike even before I could tell him which "mint" 250 I had bought. seems as though it is a small community of vintage'est here. But I felt good so for the RD400f I am going to build an all out streetfighter hooliganbike. Modern Vintage all the way, with a little anime thrown in. Just wait. Today I ordered several items... a custom designed aluminum swingarm, dual rate rear shocks with custom valving, billet clip ons, Full race expansion chambers, and more to come.
and no,that is notme unloading the bike, this is me in a sexy pose!
