I have a 98 honda accord and I've just recently noticed a strange metallic sound when I start the car. Sometimes it turns over and then nothing. I've had the starter replace before, new spark plugs, pretty new battery. It just sounds like something is scraping against something else only when it starts. It drives around great, no problems at all. Any ideas? I just don't want to go into a shop blind. Thanks

 

did you install a honda starter???????? .

was the noise there before u replaced the starter??? if not , aftermarket starters tend to make noise ..
