95 SI Hatch, Surge Idle
Car is all original, mostly stock.
only engine related modification is apex'i afc, being used as a tach only, and a basic CAI.
original motor in original car, never been messed with. runs strong burns no oil.
the problem.
idle surges from 1000-1500rpm, the surge is very steady and always the same RPM range. no CEL.
if i unplug the IACV while running it smooths out and idles at like 2K rpms. Supposedly the IACV has already been replaced.
Its a bit late now but im gonna bleed the coolant system in the morning and make sure thats not the issue.
any other ideas?
