First time at the track!
Sorry if this is in the wrong section
I went, and ran the integra for the first time...well, really, it was my first time running ANYTHING at the track. Had a great time - thanks to Tim for the use of his helmet, and sorry again that your tranny was acting up.
First run EVAR:
Set the boost to high, got a great r/t (.009) but the car started acting up 1/2 way down the track. It started backfiring pretty bad, running pretty rich...I ended up just backing off and coasting through the finish
R/T....009
60ft...2.427
1/8...9.469
1/4...14.563
MPH...85.91
Second Run:
Switched boost down to low (14psi). Car was getting pretty heatsoaked, too. Light turned, I took off...got some wheelhop. The radio, which was improperly attached, flew out knocking me from first into neutral. I quickly through the radio out of the way and shifted into second...bogged second and then was on my way.
R/T...276
60ft...3.034
1/8...10.513
1/4...15.298
MPH...102.83
Third run:
Nothing really to note...still on low boost...got a good launch, short shifted into second, and I let off a little early (n00b mistake)
R/T...238
60ft...2.240
1/8...9.094
1/4...13.679
MPH...107.66
Fourth Run:
Best run of the night. Left it in first longer, still bogged the launch a bit, but carried it out to the finish.
R/T...299
60ft...2.255
1/8...9.115
1/4...13.665
MPH...111.62
----------------------
The MPH's are promising, but the times are higher than I wanted. I really wanted to know what it would do on the high setting, but it's really only good to use from a roll in 4th or 5th (and GOD does it pull!). Fun time though!

You can do alot better than a 13.6. What tires are you using? Were they at optimal temp? As for the backfires, get it retuned on the high boost. You should be able to get a safe tune without any backfires. Also, work on your shifting.
The times may not be great for the trap speed, but not bad for your first time on a drag strip. Some more experience will pay off greatly.
