98-01 rear hatch problems???

Anyone have any problems with the lever not being able to open the hatch??? I'm wondering if the solenoid/motor went out?

happens to us all...Its always either the actuator or the whole motor. The gears must be really weak. I just use the key now, but the parts are like $50-$70 I think.

great!! thanks.... I thought I was the only one going through this problem... I have been using the key as well...
