Default 97 accord EX 4door > power windows

I got a question about power windows. My car, seems like every day the windows are getting slower and slower.... ....one of them has a brand new window motor, on the right side.
What could be causing it? Is that the "relay" or something like that.... I mean... if there's one thing that I know nothing about is eletricity and anything related to it!
Any help... I really appreciate!
Thanks!

Well finally, somebody with my dreaded problem. Same deal with my front windows, especially the drivers side. I had my mechanic check it out and he was stumped. My motors were still in good running order but the windows were sluggish. The drivers side would stop on occasion. I then had my window tracking replaced and some window grease was applied. That seemed to be the trick. But about 6 months later the window became sluggish again, so I got pissed and removed my door panel an added some WD-40 to the tracking. This also worked well for a while. Now my window will go up but every know an again I have to push the glass back for the window to move smoothly.

So try some window grease to the tracking, and If the problem still persists try replacing the winow tracking. Good luck

if ur motors are new the best thing u can do is go to ur local honda dealer and buy a can of honda silicone spray (about $7-10). spray it on the tracks all the way up and down and lower and raise ur window a few times. should speed it up a decent bit. and respray it occasionally and it should work nice. best stuff ever

do not use silicone like it was suggested,it works fine but it dries out real fast.. use wd40 it is oil based and will last a lot longer ,,also 1 of the reason window go slow i have found ,,is dust and dirt from when people drive with the window open and all dust stuff flying around in the air will get trapped in the windows run channels .....i also suggest u remove door panels and loosen up the lower bolts for the window tracks and push them away from window a bit ,,careful if u do it too much window could come off the tracks when in use

i also have a 96 accord ex 4 door with the same damn problem. driver's window, always sluggish since i bought it 4 years ago, and front passenger is a tad faster but always sluggish as well.

so i should use WD40? the motor's don't seem fucked but i haven't checked. it just seems like it needs to be "freed up" somehow.

will i need to take off the door panel? where should i be spraying the WD40? please be more specific, as i have the Hayne's Repair Manual and want to get the problem solved best as possible, thanks!!
