Default Black(gray) side molding questions. (help needed)

How do you guys keep your black side molding in tip top shape? The person i bought my civic from use to WAX his and it turned foggy black . (gray) Is there anyway to get the black back in it? Any tips?

Take if off, and spray over it with krylon flat black. Looks just like oem black plastic. Thats what I use on my si lip, and it matches my stock molding perfect.

hmm sounds good. But i've never done anything with a spray can..Anyone ever try "forever black'?!

Mothers has this stuff called "Back to Black" made just for black trim pieces. Now sure how well it works, but it's worth a try. Duplicolor Trim Paint works well from my experience.

replace with jdm thin moldings.. only around 100 bux or so. brand new and theyre JDM!! so you know you will be the ****..

I know this is late but try a heat gun, I did it on my CRX it makes them look like new and you only have to do it once. It doesn't work on all of the moldings just plastic bumper molding and bottom half.
