I can't seem to find a picture of it, but I remember seeing a 94-98 Autox Accord w/ an H22 w/ the head backwards. So when you looked @ the H22 the intake manifold was in the front and the header was in the back.

I think so, I don't really remember. It's been atleast 7 years. I'm doing a little research to see if it can be done to a k series.

If i can remember correctly the only thing they did was turn the head around. The distributor and cam gears were still on the same sides.

you're talking about the mugen built accord 94-97 with the mugen h22 exhaust ports near the firewall.

nope the mugen one. maybe those have it too, but mugen's is most notable for it.

 

This may not be it because US Super Touring cars were limited to 2.0 liters of displacement.

 

it was a destroked h22 with a flipped head.

the engine was set further back because of it, allowing it to be behind the front wheels...which meant it was a MF car, and had MUCH better weight distrubtion
