Default How to treat Carbon Fiber

I will soon be owning a CWest CF Hood and was wondering if you treated it just like the rest of your car when you are washing it. Is there any sort of special care I will need to do to take care of it? Any info appreciated. Thanks.

If there are pinholes in the epoxy, you may get wax buildup in there. Try a toothbrush to get the wax out.

wax it more often than u normally do with the car. i've been told that the topcoat doesn't have properties for ultraviolet protection and the the carbon fiber can fade into brown (or worse) over extended period of time. or you could clearcoat it... but only if u know someone who has the experience with carbon fiber... i learned that the hard way
