Default Lowered Civic coupe squeaking!?!?!

Squeaking comes from rear of car. It is not the suspension! Possibly the rear deck lid or trunk undercarriage? If anybody has had a similar problem and stopped it let me know.

How do you know it's not the suspension?

And what kind of squeek are we talking about? When does it happen? When you take a turn, or go over a speed bump or all the time?

Just try to wash your fenderwels really hard... use some pressure-washer or go to a car-wash and tell them to wash everything really well... especially the parts near to the spring...

Then let your car dry... after it dries, spray your springs with a lot of WD40... and I mean A LOT...

That might help...

The same thing happened with me! Front passenger side is squeaking and everytime I mute my radio I hear it and I imagine people outside the car! What can I do to stop that?

BTW: Sorry for stealing your thread.

Yazgameister, I had this same problem. There was a annoying squeaking noise coming from the rear of my car. Turns out, it was just my plastic rear speaker cover. I had a friend put his hand on it when I drove, and the noise stopped!

sorry i haven't posted in awhile. The squeask stayed from when i switched to skunk2 coils and kyb's to my new setup, the full skunk2 pro's. My rear control arms have been swapped out along with the old bushings. The noise happens when the car goes over any type of slight bump in the road. Very high pitched and annoying.
