Default Experiences with Crome rings

Ive searched and cant find anything..I was just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with crome piston rings. It seems like its taking an unusually long time for these rings to seat. I have 970miles on my b16 with stock internals and crome rings and it still burns oil and smokes a little. Oh and ive been running it fairly hard and downshifting also.

that's the reason why people use chrome rings to begin with, much slower wear. if i remember correctly tho, honda recommends NOT running chrome rings with their cylinder walls.

Im not a fan of chrome rings at all, your better of using a set of oem piston rings, they seat very quickly.
