Default Filter Fury

Ok I have an H22 in my EG and I recently bought a Hybrid CAI from AEM, the biggest mistake of my life. Only because that son of a bitch sucked up every piece of dust on the road. My filter was coated in **** after 1 month of driving. Now I see some companies sell a cone filter for 20 bucks and some like Mugen, Spoon, or Toda sell ones for $250. Is an air filter really worth $250 bucks? Which filter would you reccomend?

I would definitely go with K&N High Flow Air Filters. They have a 1 million mile warranty, which is forever basically.
