Default Spark plugs

I got the car at 29k miles, and it's now 47k, not really sure if last owner ever change spark plugs.

How would I know it's time to change it? the car is running just fine right now.

I would change them. Maintenance is cheap but will go along way to making your car last longer and gives you peace of mind.

NGK Copper part# BKR6E-11, you can get a complete set for under $10.

Copper plugs you should change every 15-20k miles. Platinum I would change every 40k miles, so you are due I would say.

I run the S2000 Platnium Plugs. They are a 7 heat range instead of a 6.
They are also the plugs which come stock in the JDM ITR motors.

The only down side is since they are platnium, they run about $17 a piece.

Just changed mine today with Denso Plat. Cost me $6 a plug. Cheap to do. I say go for it.

I just use the regular normal NGKs, the guy at the dealer told me they require the Iridium or platnum or whatever the heck and I asked to speak with someone else
