that would be my baby.

eg9beast, you are correct, for the classic car enthuisiast, 1964 1/2 was the first year for the mustang. registered, they are 1965, but technically they came out in the middle of the production year.

johnxboi, there is not a lot under the hood. just an inline six that has minor work done. stock from the factory was an inline six, just smaller then the one that is in it now. the stock, all original motor is in the garage. the six in those days was extremely restrictive, and there isnt a lot of room for improvement. i would have opted for a V8, but that would require a lot more work. pretty much replacing everything from the windshield forward. that and it being a rare '64.5, i wanted to change as little as possible.

thanks for the compliments.

i'm running a 200ci block with a 250ci head. since these motors intake manifold is integral to the head, i went with the 250, b/c the intake log is bigger. it also has bigger intake and exhaust valves. also running an aftermarket clifford cam, and dual outlet clifford performance headers.

Yeah I believe all or almost all 64.5 mustangs came with the 6cyl and 4 lug suspension. Not the best model if you want preformance but a great rare car! keep that thing on the road I love to see people drive clasic cars. to you!

Lovin' for the condition, rarity, and overall mint-ness, but damn, those cars look like crap unless dropped, rimmed and piped

This has been his daily driver for quite awhile, until he just recently got the Civic. The pics really don't do the car justice at all either, it is much cleaner in person.

Sorry bro I guess you just aren't a car person. Only a true car enthusiast can appreciate a car like this. Maybe you should go to one of the other "ricer" forums so you can talk about putting a 2JZ in your Civic. GTFO

bump for a classic, that car looks like it's in excellent shape considering how old it is...
