what does "are good up to" mean? Is this like when you say stock axles "are good up to" 300hp? So my throttle body will brake when i reach 400hp?
Enough with the prickness. Throttle body / intake manifold plenum/runner sizing can a profound impact on the powerband. Whether you view the gain as good or bad all depends on where you want the power. On one dyno test i saw a 8whp peak gain just by switching from 2.75" CAI to a 3" short ram. The area underneath the curve wasnt all that great so i kept the CAI on. Do some experimenting, youll be surprised at what you can learn.
