Isn't it, though?

I loved the TLs when I was first looking at bikes, but stupidly had to have a new machine. It's looking a bit dated now but it is still a fantastic bike.

dated is what you make of it. I still have a soft spot for '86-'87 gixxers. and '92-'93 ZX-7R's, the ones with the hoover tube intakes...sigh....

interesting note, those zx-7r's came with slipper clutches.

In an interesting twist of fate, my neighbor almost had me convinced to buy a TL1000S. He moved away before I had enough cash and the rest is history.

I'm so confused, aren't some of the TL-R's carbed and aren't some FI?

If so, what year models are which?
