Well this is my question. I love the wrx's they have great awd, they look nice and they get decent gas, and much better than my Jeep that i had a month ago. If i were to get a wrx i would get the 2.0L turbo verson and with the money that i have i would try to get something with around 60-70K on it b/c i dont have the money to buy brand new. And i hear that they last about as long as a honda so 150K and it can still run just fine, as long as you are not beating it up all the time. Normal use.

Now the Baja is a very odd but unique looking subaru. They have a sport verson with a 2.0L non turbo and a 2.5L turbo which i hear you can swap out pretty much anything from a STI into the baja which then has potential down the road. Plus it has a small bed for hauling bikes, my rock climbing gear, a lot of different things.

So question is what do you think might be a good investment down the road. I am seeing a lot of wrx's so maybe the baja would be a unique ride but still beable to match the wrx, but it can haul items that the wrx could not.

My personal preference would be the WRX. The 2.5L is turbo is enticing, but I myself don't really care for the baja, not that it doesn't have potential, but I would choose the WRX&gt;

 

I know that the baja is kind of odd looking but sometimes there are times where i wish i had a small bed to carry something home or haul some big stuff.
Well the trunk of the wrx would be nice for actally putting my compition system in it. Im not sure if there is much room behind the baja seats.

But is it true that the WRX can last as long as a honda ? going over 150K

If you're going to haul a lot of stuff from time to time I'd suggest getting baja turbo. Otherwise get a WRX or even a WRX wagon.

The 06 wrx wagon's are ****

2.5 liter intercooled turbo @ 230 hp w/ 235 ft lb of torque. That ain't no joke son!! They pull. Also if you wanted dual front heated seats you can get that as option or heated side view mirrors and windshield de-icers. Or if you want the limited package you can get all that plus a sunroof. As much as i like sedan's i'd go for wagons just because it's Subie.

At least cops won't get on my back as much.

i think my thoughts have changed and a wagon is the best of both worlds. All i have to do is find one in my area for a good price.

Can anyone help me ?

I wish i can. I work at a dealership in norcal. If you were here we'd give you a good deal. Wait a sec we can probably work something out. I'll talk to my ASM tomorrow and see what we can do for you because we have done out of state deliveries before.

Although the engines have the same displacement, the baja and the STi's internals should be very different. The reason I wold choose a wrx is because the turbo is from factory. Once you interchange parts, even with factory parts from a different engine, it's just not as reliable IMO.

I would really like to find a White one... I have never owned a white car, and yes i know its wisconsin and white and snow blend very well but i think it would be a great car. Or Black would be nice too.
