05 RSX Type S lowering springs!
I want to lower my car and was leaning more towards springs rather than coilovers...but when i had my 92 accord and i put on coilovers the struts were blown , and my friend just recently put springs on his 97 civic and his struts were blown, if i put on these new lowering springs on my new car will i blow out my struts too and have a rough ride like i had in my accord....
Also, whats better lowering springs or adjustable coilovers!
Thanks in advance!

duh. if u put lowering springs and use the stock stuts, the struts will blow. they are not made to be compressed for long periods of time. Dont be cheap, do it right the first time. If you get springs, look into a good set of stuts. IE Tokico adjustable/non-adjustable, KYB GR2/AGX, Koni.
But if you go with a coilover, they usually come with a strut build to handle the pressure. unless you buy something like ground controls.

i think coilovers may tend to be "better", but that's only because they are adjustable and you can set them to whatever type of ride height you'd like. full coilovers wil tend to be much more expensive than any other setup. especially Tein.
if you want some drop, maybe check out a shock/spring setup, similar to what Mugen or Koni offers.
but it all depends on what you want. do some research, and see what you can spend.

if i had the money i would go with tein. you really cant beat them. but like i said earlier, you'll be paying a pretty penny for the tein cull coilovers.

i dont know about that...
vtec was created by Honda, and is patented by them. there is no ONE person who takes sole credit for creating it. and even if that was true, i don't see how perfecting a system of variable valve timing has anything to do with creating suspension components. two totally different things.

If you believe that, you need to stop sniffing GLUE ....
The guy who deals with omni power had "relations" with the people over at skunk2. They both develop parts at the same factory in Taiwan ...

you have to read more carefully he invented LSVTEC, not vtec.
