you'd need to know the tire size you're planning on running.

I'd say 2" MAX. Most people say more.... Matters how stiff your suspension is as well. I'm running 15x7 on H&R sports 1.75" drop in front 1.5" in back and I rub when i corner hard or if there are people in my backseat.

I agree, i'm running 16x7 and i have a 2 finger gap in the back and still rub on hard cornering.. it sucks....

Probably H&R sports would be your best bet. I found mine for 130shipped. They are 1.75front 1.5back. If you go with the race you may have rubbing problems... I dont know though some claim they dont with H&R race. What is your wheel/tire size.

Well i dunno you could try out the H&R race. They're going to be a little stiff and they're going to be pretty damn low. Your definitley going to rub more with them than you would with the sports. Spring rates on the races is something like...
470 Front
360 Rear
470 Front
360 Rear
There is a tab back there where the bumper mounts that it is rubbing on, just bend it up and it will help stop the rubbing. I have a 92 civic, with a 2.25" fr and 2" r drop with 16x7" on 205/40/16, and it rubs occasionally if I am ripping it, or have a crew of people (which I try to avoid, but still sometimes happens
). My brother in law has a 1.75" fr and 1.5" r drop and he runs a 205/45/16 with no rubbing problem (after he bent up that bumper tab in the back). As a word of advice, when you are first going to drop your car you are always thinking "what is the lowest I can drop it" and with rims "what is the biggest I can fit", but after you drive it for a while on shitty roads, you start to think differently. The fender clearance isn't the only, and probably not the biggest concern when dropping a car (although that is all I looked at when I was doing it). My car is literally less than 3" off the ground, and I will drag on a coke can laying on its side. You constantly have to drive extremely careful to not drag, and there are parts of town I can't even go to. I love the way my car looks and handles, and I am not going to change it any time soon, but honestly if I had it to do over again, I wouldn't drop it as much, and I would roll more sidewall (maybe even on a 15" rim). You won't notice any tire roll on any thing 205/50 or less, so you should have more tire to absorb the bumps and potholes. In the long run you will be alot happier.
