crx cruise control
anyone here install factory cruise control from a civic ex onto a crx si?
I won a 1991 civic hatch/sedan brochure off ebay and noticed that the 91 ex and lx sedans had cruise control.
Based on the fact that the ex sedan came with a d16a6 I would imagine that the cruise system is really just a bolt on affair.
anyone tried this?
thanks

good luck.
there has been more than a few threads about it in this section, do a search, and youll find one from about a week or so ago.

the dude was having SERIOUS issues.. its not as easy as it sounds.
i have an aftermarket unit that works perfect, and looks great!
but dont ask where i got it, or how much, cuz it was on the car when i bought it. and it was installed by the dealer.

Well, I wouldn't call it SERIOUS issues...
but it's a PITA to remove the cruise control from one of these things.
I seriously wish that Honda had hookd cruise control straight up to the throttle body instead of the pedal assembly. This would save SO MUCH hassle of installing this.
Installing factory cruise control is still something i'm going to do. I have all of the parts in my garage right now. Installing factory cruise control will, however, require you to do a lot of wiring, cussing, and frustration.
I still wonder if I can just hook up the actuator to the throttle body. Anyone know?
