What do you think of the passive rear steering?

when i install rear disk breaks, does it remove the passive rear steering?

no.. cuz when you install rear discs your only installing it from the spindle and nothing else.. (the huge hex bolt in the back of the hub)

what the hell is passive steering? I have an 88 and heard of this passive steering thing... I dont see anything connected to steering in the rear... I just had the ITR type rear LCA, using the eyelit type shock, rather than the fork.

i got this from crxsi.com...

88's have what Honda called "passive rear steering" which makes them slightly more agile but some owners complained that they didn't like the "twitchiness" feeling of it so it only existed the one year.

the 88 rear lower control arms flex more. this causes more toe out when the suspension is stressed, hence more of a passive steering.

It's all in the control arm.

i have an 88 but i can't really drive it to find it since it is wrecked but i am going to put this on my hatch if it is possible.

preludes came with 4 wheel steering, which means all the wheels moved. 88=91 they where mechanical and then after that they came electrical. i think they stopped making it in 96
