the adaptor plates are for civics/integras with a h22, that way they don't have to fit the shift cables of a prelude. i'm not sure how you would fit the shift arms for an itr tranny into a prelude. i would be interested to know if anyone has done this though, and the extent of labor and money that was involved.

Definitly not worth it, just get a lower FD if you want slighly better gearing, or a M2F2 or comparable tranny.

Hmm I don't know Corey...

it's a ton of work, and it might not work well, but if someone with a stock M2Y4 is looking for a helical gear LSD, more FD options, and more gear options which are available for the b-series trannies, it just could be worth it.

b/w the $1200 housemann or ATS FD unit, the $800 quaife, and limited options for different gearsets, it might be worth figuring out how to route the shift arms of the hydro tranny.

still, not an easy job, and to my knowledge no one has ever done it before.

monkey, i think you are right, to buy all the stuff to spice up the h22 trans you might be at about the cost of the itr tranny plus the adaptor and then some custom work.....

i dont think it would be that hard, as long as the shift arms line up with the prelude hump....with the adaptor plate in between, they might be a little too far over, and i wouldnt want to be bending them....

and i love the w shitting, that guy has got to go.....so dumb....

you could get a euro-r/atr tranny. comparable to the itr and even though its expensive it would still come out cheaper then doing a conversion and be easier.
