Do you wear gloves why'll autocrossing/Rallycrossing?
I wear mechanix (sp?) gloves. im a noob to autoX and i get all nervous and my hands get sweaty. i kinda feel stupid wearing them, but oh well.
I started autoxing without gloves, then I went through a period where I used them, but for some time now I'm back to not using them. Autox is short enough where sweat is not an issue (for me), and I like the extra feel you get without gloves. Perhaps it's psychological since this is how I started and so it's what feels "right".

Been autocrossing for 16 years and have never tried using gloves. Never really felt like I needed them.

Ive always used them when autoXing, etc. I use my old Thor MX gloves, and they seem thin enough to not lose much feel, while sticking to the wheel.
EDIT: I just rhymed

Nope, I like the feel without, don't really feel a need to in auto-x, and the couple times I have used different gloves I've pinched the fingertip of one glove against the wheel with my other hand (bad hand position? haha) so that was it for me.
Hmm I use a bit of chalk when weightlifting for a little extra grip and less sweat... sounds kinda funny but why not use a little when driving? At the start line I do find myself trying to dry my hands.

never wore them for auto-x, wore my Mechanix gloves for track days, decided to buy a nice pair of fireproof OMP gloves from Saferacer.com this year, got them just in time for a track day and now I use them for auto-x too. The plastic wheel in my Integra RS gets really slippery when my hands sweat.

Never did before, but after buying the IT car I purchased a suede steering wheel. The steering wheel with gloves is an excellent combination.
I don't usually wear gloves when I drive other people's cars.

I almost always wear gloves, autocrossing and daily driving. Started off with batting gloves, which were ok but didn't last too long. after about 4 pairs switched to Handball gloves and love them! Tough yet soft, great feel, and grip the wheel like crazy! The aluminum ball shifter works very well with gloves too. It just doesn't feel right to me without gloves.
Why'll = why ya'll are (?)
I can't wear gloves while autoxing because 99%+ of my driving is done without them.
During the summer though, I'll approach the start with my palms held up to the vents while the A/C is blasting to keep them cool. Sounds crazy and, well, it is.

i autox with them.. always have. it makes me feel "faster".. i know i sound queer.. shutup. nothin more racy than a red pair of gloves!.. uh..
as far as working on the car, almost never. only when dealing with brake pad changes or wheels.. most of the time, just bare-handed. it helps me "feel" the parts when i can't see them..

Always, all the time, autox and track events. Summer, winter, hot, cold, rain, shine. Nomex gloves now. Started with football gloves, Mechanix and then racing gloves.
