Looks good to me.
So when can he weld up a custom exhaust manifold for me?

I think you did those yourself and if people criticised them, you can blame it on your "12 year old son"

Good welds. Looks like steady hands and good penetration=correct voltage and wire speed.

I'll be the first to admit they are prolly better tehn my welds, i should show you my 15 year olds welds

Ya, muffler shop welds suck and they over-charge up the bum. I know, I spent almost enough at a few to afford a decent 115V Miller or Hobart.

tfnaaf, please share your setup. Up for a dude with a sense of humor.

It's a SP130T lincoln 220v, bought it used for $375 with bottle and cart. Thought that was a pretty good deal. I'll takes picts next time of both my 12 and 15 year old sons doing the welds For those that think i did those welds . My 15yr olds kicks *** on his welds . They put mine to shame. Im about equal to my 12 year olds welds haha

quick correction my 12 year old son DIDN'T weld that. My misstake.....He's 11 years old. My wife had to refresh my memory

Wow, thats a pretty good deal for a 220v welder w/ a bottle and cart. A new millermatic 135 would cost about $600 bucks, w/out a cart!
