We need to get the ball moving fellas.

-I need information on what to give out at nopi.
-We need to set up a paypal addy
-We need to set up a regitration
-We need to know who all is and how many people want to be Instructors?
-We need to get a FULL headcount (Drivers, non drivers, Instructors)

Not bashing, not being rude, but we need to get on the ball. People who are coming from way outta town need to know, plus it will help the situation roll even smoother if we are ready to roll with no other things to do in the last 2 weeks of the event.

I think you all will get alot of seat time, which is WELL worth doing this. So lets see where we stand, make a list of to do's, and get going. If you all dont have time, give me the list, and i can fit it in to my scedule. I just want to see this happen, as well as many others.

this event is 3 months away....if you gotta plan 3 months in advanced for a track day....then you probably aren't gonna have any fun!

 

2 or 3 months? If you count numbers, 2. If you count how many 19 youll see, 2.

I think its 2 months.

BTW, im just saying, it needs to be spoken up upon. And if you planned the event, or have been helping, speak up on it. Planning ahead is just reassurance to making sure that everything is ready and rolls smooth, insted of being *** backwards.

Just some advice, as i had a great conversation about this exact topic tonight. Im sure im not the only person who sees it like i do.

I wont be driving anything. I just want to make sure that everything is done or is being worked on. No one else will make the post, so i will.

 

/me wants to know where registration forms are at too.

 

One other thing too I would like to know is what hotel will be the "go to" hotel?

Most people would like to plan a little a head with work and family.

****, that only gives me 2 and a half months in which to build a car. I've got a chassis, and I just ordered some Lexan windows for it, suspension coming next week.

That leaves me currently without: brakes, wheels, tires, a seat, a 5 point harness, an engine, and about 40 million other things. And I need a new helmet too. Damn.

Sorry guys I got a project managment position and needed to get the product out the door last week. It's all done and I should be able to focus on all this stuff this weekend and next week and should have some good packages to hand out at NOPI.

Chad really doesnt care how fast or slow the registration moves along because hell he has been to alot of races! We arent as special as you Chad.

i'm not special....and it doesn't take 2.5 months to figure out where, what and how you are oging to get to a track day.

REGRISTRATION....heck that usually isn't up until one month prior to an event.


ben, if you really want to help you shouldn't have posted this thread. what you trying to light a fire under andy's and craig's butts?? trust me that won't work...these guys have it covered....and yes i have been in touch with andy about this event....this is a track day guys not a freaking wedding!

 

WE have the track and dates, make your plans now! It will happen and instructors will sign up with everyone else.

We also will look at the instructor and make sure he/she will be instructing.


NOV. 19-20........Mark your calendar cause we already have paid!

 

I consider this a national event. Being that it was posted and pinned on this forum marks it importancy and size. Some of us dont live as near as you chad. Some of us are traveling 1000+ JUST to get there. Dont think we can just get a weekend off to attend this.

I wasnt trying to light a fire. I was saying what needed to be said, no matter who said it. It just happened to be me. Does it cause bad blood with andy, craig, and myself? Not a bit. It just helps move things, and for others to see as well, and thats the bottom line. Helping wouldve been you saying its taken care of, giving more info. Remember, they have already paid. Im looking out for them...

I tried calling 2 days ago and again yesterday, you know about me and my philosophy regarding voicemail.

Anyway, I got a battery, a seat and a harness, and I have options regarding brakes. I'm pretty sure one of my friends in Florida will be sending me a motor to use for the event.

 

I need at least 2.5 months to fill the bookies with bets on how many cars Don's Hatch will destroy...
