I don't know the technical names..but...theres two fans by the radiator...Since 1:30 this afternoon , the larger fan, every once in a while...when accelerating makes a loud whirring noise and when decelerating makes a slow whirring clanking noise.... There basically was no coolant, so I put coolant in...but it still makes noise, but not as loud...could it be because i ain't had no coolant or can it also be something else.

 

I don't know what could be causing it... but.... have you checked if there's anything stuck or keeping the fan from spinning freely?

 

chk the frt motor mount as well., if broken the fan will slightly hit the frt beam ,,,,,,,,,being low on cooland should make no difference on how the fan sounds ,you could have a fan motor starting to wear ,,,,grab the blades and see if there is any sideways play
