F your friends and do it just to spite them. I just hope the rest of your car isn't stock. If it is, put the money in the bank for some wheels and a drop before you rice it out

What???... a 04 accord and already changing parts?... well... that's your decision....
I have a 97 accord, with dual "halo" headlights... ....they are nice, and don't cost so much........but... ....the beam it's not as strong as I expected.... but that's me!
Yet... I like my headlights.....
If I had a brand new car... I would wait at leas 2 or 3 years before starting to change parts.
And before you put any headlights, get an air intake..... That's a smart choice.... (in my opinion)...

for your safety and for the sake of the accord name, DO NOT PUT THOSE HEADLIGHTS ON YOUR CAR!...yeah, it's your decision, but they are about 50% of the light output vs. stock...if you want to upgrade your lamps, just do a DIY black housing with HID's...otherwise a retrofit if you really are keen on projectors...i just can't stress enough how horrible these lights are...

Seriously, I'd suggest you put an inquiry out in these threads and see if you can find anyone in your local area (several hours drive) that might be using your favorite headlamps so that you can arrange to see them installed, and you can judge their effectiveness yourself.
I was hot for projectors for my 5th gen, but when I saw the cheezy chrome and substandard wiring, I passed.
I want headlights that come with a nuclear radiation warning, something I can use to illuminate a sign from six miles away. I don't want to go backwards

I agree. I want to know I am going to hit a racoon longer than 2 seconds before I hit it. And if I can't illuminate a house at least 4 miles down a straight road then I deem lights ineffective.
Safety first when driving at night. Besides when you pass someone at 50 miles and hour they are not going to say "hey man did you see those lights on that '04 Accord? Sweet"
Legal? When was the last time you heard someone get pulled over because the cop thought there headlights were illegal? I have been using bulbs that say off road use only for at least 7 years.

Decision is still up to you but for 269.00 bones I think I would stick to Honda Stock for a while. JMO.
