you can get a racing cat/ test pipe off ebay for 40 shipped. I have had it on my car for over a year with no problems. It is tigged and polished also nice looking piece. I usually don't go for the ebay stuff but with this you can't lose.
I have one on my car it leaked real bad. Inline pro suggested that I get it welded after install. I did and no probs. I know they say it shouldn't leak but anyone else have this prob?
Ok, I know the post refers to an omni power brand, and I don't mean to step on all the great sponsors and sellers here, but I feel like stating that a 'test pipe' is composed of a single straight section, and 2 flanges. Total materials cost: ~$10. So, if you don't need it adjustable, and don't mind adding a little paint (or living with a little rust), you can check out kragen's or jcwhitney.com for the parts and with the 90%+ that you saved I'm sure you can get someone to weld it up for you and still not come out so bad.
yeah it won't be '1/2" thick laser cut flanged 316 fully polished stainless', but so what mine doesn't leak.
