i have a 1990 CRX SI and it has the teardrop 14" stock wheels and i bought a set of 1993 integra gsr 6 spoke alloy 14" and i am just asking if these should be ok for sure to fit correctly? because i put them on and right when i started driving there was a clicky/notchy sort of sound happening while driving straight near the drivers side wheel just going 20mph and i put the stock ones back on and it was fine again???
it makes clunky/clicky/notchy noises if you turn the steering wheel left and right while the car is parked on the ground, and i looked under while someone else turned the steering wheel and i can see that the thing making the noise is the steering gear bar thing that has the tie rods at the ends, i also noticed the tied rod bushings were shot, i just don't understand why does it act fine driving straight with the stock wheels on the front but when i switch it to the integra wheels it makes the sound when going straight??? the wheels should be the same size right? only difference is it says 195 instead of 185 on the tire size
any help or direction in what it could be would be appreciated totally

sorry, i guess it turns out my problem has nothing to do with the wheels, i had NTB look at it (they looked for free) and turns out i need a new steering rack / tierods/balljoints etc.... cause you can pull on the tierod and it moves in and out of the rack
but i am tired of driving around with two of the teg wheels in my car all rolling around when i am taking corners, i just need to wait and get that stuff fixed and then put the front teg wheels on then get it aligned, but i decided i might do all this myself, i don't care if i have to get a rental car, it is just way too high $$$$ to get all that done
here is the quote they gave:
2 upper balljoints - parts - $403 ($201.68 each) + labor $170 = $573 total
2 lower balljoints - parts - $149.32 ($74.66 each) + labor $255 = $404.32 total
2 outer tie rods - parts - $135.56 ($67.78 each)
1 manual steering rack - parts - $600 + labor $425 = $1025
alignment = $89.99
1 drivers side axle - parts $120 + labor $120 = $240 (but i just got new cv joints only like 2-3 yrs ago and its only a little leak in the boot)

holy **** man..... goddam. there gonna bend you over. the tie rod ends i paid 20 each for my rex. brand new. and the axle if its not clicking when you turn just buy a new boot. like 9 bucks and about an hour of work. and i'm guessing that the rest of the parts are WAY over priced. you could do a 5 lug whole swap for less. those guys are ********.

Since this came up in September, I'm sure he fixed it (either himself or by someone else) a long time ago.

i was doing a search for something completely different and came across this old post of mine in the results, and i realised i never put an update telling if i fixed it or not, so i'll just add it now . . . .
i ignored that expensive quote that shop gave me, and i got the new steering rack and other parts i needed such as tie rods and balljoints cheaper and ended up doing it all myself, but with the help of honda-tech and a guy who guided me through it by email, plus i was fortunate to be able to be using my moms car while i worked on it, and was able to work on it in my parents garage too which made it way better, so those things allowed me to take my time more and make sure i did everything right.
afterward i put all 4 of the 93 integra gsr 6-spoke wheels on the car and got it aligned, and i had them on for a while but ended up hitting a curb at an angle which bent one of the rims, so i took those wheels off and put my stock 90 si teardrop wheels back on so i would have a matching set of 4 at least,
i put the set of 93 teg wheels in my friends patio of his townhouse, just until i could move them to my place, his patio is fended in with a gate and locked, but the stupid complex he lived at ended up clearing out his patio without warning him, saying it was too messy ?!, and they would'nt allow him to be able to get his stuff back that was in there, which included my set of teg wheels !!,
pissed me off and was going to complain or see if i could get them back, but i never ended up getting them back, and was a loss, and sucked cause i could of sold them and made some money at least, even know one of the wheels was bent from hitting curb, but oh well, theres nothing i can do about it now
