eg tranny question

Default eg tranny question

when i bought my civic the guy i bought it from said the EX tranny was in it, which is the s20 if i am correct. anyways, i was looking at the tranny today and there is a sticker than says p20 on it and thats the DX tranny. then i looked at the right side of my tranny and there is a sticker that says S20 on it. Can anyone help me with what tranny i have? thx.

I'm pretty sure the tranny code is stuck on the side closest to the engine.

there is a circular stamp above the fill plug on the tranny. it should say P20 on the top half of the circle and B000 on the bottom if it is an EX or Si tranny. If it says A000 on the bottom half, it's a DX tranny.

nope, all it says is s20 then 1451883 then a barcode above that. and the p20 sticker, next to it says Y4B. and thats it

you have to look by the drain plug.... like stated above... its hard to see when its in the car
