If all these ITRs are stolen...

Then where the hell are the parts going, and what about the vin plates. Surely these stolen engines and parts have to be traceable? Whose buying these parts?

That is true, but there are honest civic owners out there. But then theres those who aren't. The hybrid scene here in NJ is completely out of hand. Even Civic SI (**** injected) owners are swapping their b16s for b18c1s' and b18c5. Some of them aren't legit and the owners dont care.
Not only that but NJ is number 1 for insurance fraud, kids having their civics, integras stolen only to get the engine back plus insurance paybacks. Thats why my rates are through the roof. My insurance went up on my Integra and i didnt even get any points.

this is ridiculous.. you're blaming it all on civic owners.
what about other integras.. more ITR parts fit on lower trim integras.

Doesn't the VIN is also imprinted on the engine block somewhere, and that way the police can trace them, unless they remove it....then becomes a suspicious engine?

thats what i was thinking. wonder if the theft rate will go up once the elise is here. then agina if you spend all that money on a car in the first place i doubt you wil be going a swap anytime soon.

the ITR engine is going to fit in the elise coming to the states right?
