Painting questions..
Well im painting my car tomorrow. its all masked off and ready to go.
Now my paint is fine and there is no dents in the steel. Is it ok to just put primer over the clear coat then go ahead and paint.
I really dont want to sand it down if i dont have to.

you can, but there's a higher chance that your paint will chip. Sanding down the clear and primering makes the new paint "stick" 'better. Don't cut corners when it comes to painting. Unless you don't plan on keeping the car.
its just basically a TEMP paint job. its going flat black till next spring.
Its just a drag car
But like i said there is not dents in the body so i really dont wanna waist time doing that. I took alot of time prepping and doing masking.

i would sand and primer then. you need to and to give the new paint something to stick to. paint doesnt stick to smooth surfaces, e.g. clearcoat.
you should also was the car with a wax remover before you sand.
