cant get front springs off.....

Default cant get front springs off.....

ok i went to autozone and got a a spring compresser but the thing is it wont fit in the front springs.it did work and fit in the back tho.......what did u use to compress your springs???i have a 95 integra by the way

Hammer the locks inbetween the spring coils.

They will come off. Thousands of honda owners have have done it before. Can't see why you can't. Just takes a little force.

Go out into your yard, (the grass), have a buddy stand on the spring and you unscrew the nut until it pops off. Make sure your buddy helps keep an eye out for the exploding nut and washer. That's how I've done it in the past.

Don't be a wuss. It works fine. Just make sure it's pointed away from anything important. It only jumps like 6in.

You can also put the shock between 2 tires and use and open end wrench to turn the top nut and the stuff will be held against the tires so nothing flys anywhere.

^^^^^^^^^^Been there done it...... works fine. If n e 1 gets hurt it's their own fault!! J/k but =seriously its okay to try! The spring compressor that you compress with a drill is an accident waiting 2 happen imo. My 2centz.
