Default z6 milling the head questions

Wassup,

I am getting a z6 sohc vtec head that is warped. I was going to have it decked and then swap it onto my z6 to bump the compression. What is the most I can safely take off the cylinder head to get the most compression out of this. I am also curious on how this will affected valve timing? any information you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

I believe (not positive) the Honda service manual says absolutely positively no more than 40 thousands, but I'd be sketchy of anything more than 30 thousands though. Consider investing in an adjustable cam gear as it will advance your cam a bit.
