I dont get why people say **** like cant get good suspension.. Have you tried them yet or are you just saying it because that is what everyone else is saying.. I was a skeptic about them also but I had tom hook me up with a set to be a guinea pig basically he just gave them to me to try and if I liked them I could buy them and if not I could send them back.. But I think they are great. and I am going to keep them.. So unless you have some solid evidence they suck you should keep the comments to yourself.
Thanks..

Well if you're going to get pissy about it and get your panties in a bunch do you have anything besides your little butt dyno to prove that they're actually helping the car handle 'better' (which is a relative term). Shock dyno? What are the spring rates, wheres it made and by who and whats the warranty? Going to put any track time on them?

All I see is 3 posts where the image was failed to be properly posted and thats it. By that definition this should be in the appearance costmetic forum since it has no technical insight to anything related to suspension so far.

You need to relax and stop trying to stick up for the little guy (cheap good "looking" coilovers in this case) and actully be concerned with fact.

because people like this person come in here posting a picture saying "woot woot check out my bling bling suspension". Now what that leads people to belive is that, 1 the person bought them baised on looks, 2 that the person has no real idea to say these are good. When 99% of people come in here saying that there suspension setup rocks and its the **** YO!! you ask them for something to prove the point. They answer back with "it rides firm and i can REALLY take that freeway on ramp at 90mph". Which is no real data that says these are good, in fact they can't even provide manufactures data to say they are good.

try and understand it, if you were going to buy a product from some, they swore up and down this product is the best out there and kicked ***. You asked them what did you compare it to, they say aaaa nothing its the best though. Or you ask them what kinda of test were done, or what experance do you have with competitors products. and they have no answer.

Now how in the hell can there statment "this product the best out there and kicked ***" hold any strength at all?

Hopefull you under stand it now, if not ask again ill come up with some thing to get it into your head.

Well it still doesnt make any sense to me for you to comment on a suspension set up that you do not have. You talk about it having no factual information and it should not be a post well what kind of information were you bringing to the table when you said they were shitty. nothing !!!! If they are shitty and you seem to know so much about them why dont you tell me why they suck so bad.. Hmm maybe because they are made in Taiwan or Maybe because they are inexpensive.. A company like Tein or Zeal once started out as the new company on the block and I am sure they had fairly cheap prices until they gained some recognition. Just because something doesnt have a name brand on it or hasnt been proven doesnt make it ****.. So now that I have pulled my panties out of a bunch I will say if you are going to ask for facts in a post when you respond puts some facts in there and dont just talk ****..
Thanks and have a good day

I don't think he's trying to say that the suspension in question is "shitty", we are just looking for some facts as to why it "kicks ***"

I am shopping for suspension myself and the D2 coilovers came into play. I haven't ruled them out, but test results against competitors are usually all the proof a consumer needs. An informed customer is a sastified customer

I had Omni's (which are essentially the same minus dampening adjustability), and for the street, they are decent adn worth the money. However, for the track, they were poo. I sold them and am just deciding what I'm going to use. Its a toss-up between G/C with Koni's or Tein's

The consumer should get more than a durability test and poorly worded description of he/she plans on something like coilovers.

was there a thread about D2's being the same as K-sports? this is the same marketing talk spewed by k-sport.

http://www.tikkos-racing.gr/suspensions_e.htm

i believe "ARTC" is australian rail track corporation. but who knows... its a vague acronym.

I've been told that the 240sx crowd has known this for some time now, and the revealing thread was on one of their forums (not sure what the big 240sx forum is called? Do they still post on Freshalloy.com?)
I can call one of our guys in Australia and get the lowdown on the ARTC thing.

hmmm. we are the same becaue our greek dealer copied d2's description, i think its pretty good based on they barely know english.

Ksport is not the same as anything, similar to some, but not the same.

and the artc, it stands for automotive research and testing center, nothing to do with australia. similar to tuv and other testing companies.
