how do i write a sponsorship proposal?????? i am new to this and would like feed back from people that have done it or are doin it????

i've done a lot of work with proposals. both on a personal and a corporate level.

I wrote a little something a few years back about it, i can send it to ya. Drop me an IM with your email...

A classic!

But on topic, I made out a nice proposal and included pictures, timeslips, videos, past race wins, future plans for the car, and future races and shows to attend.

It didn't work but it's a good start

 

I read all of the articles that the guy on NHRA's site wrote and I came up with a decent proposal.

I think the main points of focus should be:

- Your Experience
- Event Wins
- Car, team and workshop pics
- How you'll promote the sponsor
- What their ROI will be
- Who your demographic is

ok, sent some emails out...

a couple of quick things:
- use word or powerpoint to do the proposal
- list accomplishments with current / past cars
- List the exposure you plan to give them (aka races you'll attend, shows you'll attend, any publicity you plan *and be realistic. we all want 6 mag features, that's not very likely* )
- do your homework (on the company and their goals, find out what the locals are using, etc)
- be professional
