i wanna play around here.

i was challenged by a friend of mine to build the fastest (street/strip) honda i could for around 5,000 bucks.
this is all theory mind you, but he may build it if i can really **** out a good idea

the requirements are as follows:
must look stock on the outside
must have full interior
must be daily driveable (loan it to your girlfriend driveable)
must have some kind of exhaust (not too loud, no open headers etc)
cannot use a "D" series engine

the good:
we are working with a 91 si hatch!
not bothering with exterior mods (already looks pretty good)
we have no emission standards
we have no "bar" to worry about
we actually will never get it inspected by anyone!!!
we have a donor set of hx wheels with drag radials. (freeeeee beeee) lol

im open to any ideas, but if you just post "put a gsr motor in it"
im going to come through this computer screen and smack you
i want details!!! how would you build your car to be has nasty as possible for 5k?

it was just an example but you get the idea

i know there are plenty of honda guys on here that have done more than me
so let me pick your brains for a few ideas

 

$5000 isn't that much. Do you have any actual goal? (other than fastest car ever)
