Default Audio System Advise

I have the Alpine CDA-9851 Deck and was wondering if the following setup would work nicely together...

Alpine MRV-F345 Amp (75w x 4 @ 2Ohms)
2x (Front & Rear) Infinity Kappa 60.7CS (90w, Impedance: 2Ohms)

Does this sound like a nice decent system? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Alpine Hu, Alpine amp and Infinity speakers, should sound great. That said, I would spent the extra $100 on the 9853 to get the digital x-over and time correction and the bass focus and other features http://www.alpine-usa.com/ 94

I agree!
Just tune the amp and don't be dumb like my friend and put the gain to max on new speakers. Imo dont even do it. My speakers are 1/2 way. It's loud enough and it dosnt rattle the metal around it or the speaker dosnt distort if you "bump" the system!!

I'm also thinking about a sub but nothing too big. I was thinking one of those Bazooka with a build in amp. How are those? I want something good the to ears that won't bump too loud. These seem perfect as they won't take up much room since the amp and sub are built together.

For what you want a Bazooka tube will work perfect, hint........ before you mount the tube, spend a week moving it around in the back of the car, [pointing it in diff. directions, and at diff. distances away from surfaces till you find the spot the works the best for you.
A Bazooka tube that is pointed in the same direction sitting in the same spot but at diff. distances away from the same surface, [as little as 2" can make a huge diff.] and what side, [front or back] the port is on, will sound completely diff.
There are 100s of wrong ways to mount a Bazooka tube and only a few right ways.
That is why when we install Bazooka tubes for our customers we run enough wire and cable so the tube can be mounted anyplace in the trunk/hatch and we give the customer two small sand bags, [to "wedge" the tube so it will not roll around] and have them come back to have it permanently mounted once they find a place that they like the sound of it. 94

Which size would you recommend? The 8inch or 10inch one? Thanks.

As the plugs are the same on both, make a deal with the place you get it that if you wand to change it they will let you, get the 8" take a listen if you don't like it pay the diff. and get the 10", just make the deal up front, we do it all the time at our shop, and as long as the tube does not get marked up, there should be no problem. 94

Then I would go with the BTA10200 10" 200W tube http://www.sasbazooka.com/prod...d=256 you could go with the BTA10100 10" 100W but I am a firm believer in, there is no such thing as too much power, when it comes to sub bass 94
