i know for a fact that it can be done on some bikes, because I have seen GSXR 600s with 1000s swapped in. but i dont know how difficult it would be to do it though

To me it would seem like a lot of work because the frames would have to be altered along with the suspension. You are probably better off just buying a bike with said engine from the get go!

I know of a company that makes a kit to put a 1000cc into a 750 frame. That's the suzuki gsxr family btw.

gixxer 7/11's and FZR 4/6's are hot.

gixxer's have always been popular for swaps. i've seen a 600 with a 1300 hayabusa motor in it too. pretty clever.

If you do this, get a wrecked bike with a damaged/salvage title or a frame only with a clean/salvage title. it'll be cheaper. but harder.

I have put f3 motors in f2 frames.

I know there are people who have put 900rr motors in f3's before. 954 will fit in a 929. I have seen a gsxr 600 and a 750 with a hayabusa engine crammed in em.

It all depends on how much money you are willing to spend.

Lee Shierts in Charlotte NC had a stock (looking) GSXR 600 with a busa motor shoe horned into it. It cleaned up at the grudge/street races for about a year. Anyone who knew what they were looking for would have spotted it but then again, anyone who knew would have known Lee as well so it worked well for him.

It can definately be done.

I have heard the same as two others here. 900RR eng will go into f2 and f3. And that gsxr 1k will go into late model 750 frames. Don't know about the 1k RR yet.
