Whining noise

Whining noise
Theres a whining noise coming from my motor every now and again. Probably about every other 5 minutes. What is this? I was told it was my dizzy bearing. But I thought I'd ask on here. Thanks.

The alternator can whine from time to time as intermittant loads come and go. Such as the radiator cooling fans turning on/off.
The A/C compressor can whine from time to time as the system cycles.
