Is there a difference between JDM and USDM? engines, like is there a jdm b-16 and usdm b-16? that are different? o man what a question.
the most common b16s u see in EFs are the first generation b16s...these were only made injapan.. the usdm b16s came in the dohc del sol as well as the 99-00 civic si...these are more desirable since they are newer and usually come with less mileage

usdm engines have a spefic code to identify them
example... b16a2 is 99-00 si and b16a3 is delsol. the jdm motor will just have b16a, and you have to identify which one it is by looking at it (obd0 or 1, etc.)
jdm motors are also slightly different: higher compression, different cam profile, etc.
