Default best rims/color for black type s?

Just recently bought an 05 type s, first car , im lookin to put some rims on it

just wondering what in your opinions would be a good color and style to put on my baby

ah... didn't see that.

powder coat stock rims.... goldish color or black. that's what i would do. i just like the stock rims too much.

keep the stock rims for the sleeper factor, there badass anyways, why waste money on wheels when you could put it towards some power adders!!

u guys do have a point, but i like the type r look or the volk te37, but im cheap so id go with the rota knockoffs instead, just tryin to think of a color

volks ARE nice... but damn are they expensive. i was going to get rota slips for my 05, but the price for 17" slips is kind of expensive as well... whatever you decide to do though, post it up.

yah i want new brakes before i go with rims, this is just plans for the future for when i have profits, i looked at white mf10's on ebay, good price for buy it now-like $780 plus about $240 for shipping, if u guys know where u can get sum mf10's for a good price lemme know

personally Id go with either black-out look, or with the bronze/gold rims....Ive got the black rims with chrome lip,...and i like'm (ive got a ssm 04 Civic(satin silver))

you must be kidding me. Mugen rims are like more then 4 times that price. I paid a little more the 3k for mine.

VERY true... but the way i see it is this: i prefer function over fashion (90% of the time), and when you're spending a ton of money for something SO close to the ground (succeptible to all sorts of dings and scrapes and chips), i'd rather put the money into something else. it's the same reason why i dont wear $500 sneakers...

plus, if i had volks or mugen wheels, where i live in NY, they wouldn't last me long. i'd probably get one or two pics in before i turned around and they were gone.

you have any pics of your car? i'd like to see the brembos/mugen wheel setup
