Default At it again.

Just wanted to say cause this is getting out of hand. My homeboys GSR was stolen. I want to set a meet to help stop this. I got some pics of the thieves and I know what some of them drive. I am working with the police and I could use as much help as possible. Anybody who is interested let me know. This is for all in miami, south florida, and ft. lauderdale. I will set the meet in the millenium mall parking lot.

You always post asking for help, but what I don't understand is: What is it that we can actually do to help? You said you're already working with police...

I got about 5-8 pics of the cars they drive. I want to play a cat and mouse game and found out where they live.

if you're working with the police to catch theives, going online and telling everyone what you know isn't exactly the smartest thing to do. theives have the internet too ya know.

My paranoia talking:

You are in fact a thief, and you are trying to lure a group of ITR owners into some shady mall parking lot some night to jack their cars...

I havent told anyone online what I know that is why I what to set a meet. I want the thieves scared or I want to make it harder for them. I am tired of hearing about 5-30 cars getting stolen every weekend and nobody doing nothing. The cops can only do so much cause they have to do it buy the books. They need our help to but an end to it. Anyone that helps will be greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten

Give it up dude. Nobody on here is going to "meet" so they can talk about theives. I agree with flux. I'm beginning to wonder if your a theif yourself. If you know what you know then work with the cops, take pictures of the guys getting hand cuffed and then post them up on here. Otherwise please stop with the "I'm getting the theives" threads.

I'd like to know who is buying all of these stolen parts? 99.9% of them don't seem to turn up online or in the paper, so where is this market for stolen OEM parts?

I remember reading a thread somewhere, where someone mentioned that these parts were finding their way overseas.

Can anyone confirm?

For those of you trying to knock me as a thief thanks for the support. As for the parts being shipped off overseas, it happens but I have seen them sell their parts amongst friends or sell them really cheap at hangouts, or from what I heard they keep it stored in case they need another motor cause they blow theirs up, and keep all the parts for their car. I had my car stolen and I lost over 12k because of them. What hit me the most was that I had something from my grandmother in the car before she past away, that same week I went shopping and spent about 1k on presents and for a BBQ I was hosting. Then I go through a 2 week interrogation to make sure I didnt steal my own car. Yall dont know what I been through and what I went through. I have been also hosting a fundraiser to help stop thieves and so far we raised almost 2k. We have been trying to stop this but it is only 3 of us. I cant be at every hangout to catch them. I am also going to be putting my R up for bait. If nobody wants to help me that is fine, do what you keep doing and keep you car safe, if anybody has any info please pass it on to Paul Espana (305) 698-1510, he works for miami-dade in the northwest district auto theft. Yall take care and protect your cars, I am tired of trying to help people out and getting **** talked. As for the meet I am not there to talk about thieves. I am going to point them out, pass around pics of them and show who they really are. You probably parked right next to him at the car show.

Not to mention the going rate for a GSR shortblock in the South Dade area is about $200. I've seen complete VTEC heads go for $250 and GSR swaps in the $1200 range in the same area. It's no mystery what keeps the prices down, most of the Miami area thefts are starting to be targeted at OBD-1 cars and cars with JDM swaps to avoid having evidence of VIN removal. Big ticket cars like ITR's will always be stolen down there simply due to the profit margin over GSR's, but nothing is now safe. Law enforcement seems to be preoccupied with things other than vehicle theft and when they do get involved, they rarely follow up with anything more than looking the stuff over for a VIN that matches a stolen car or evidence of VIN removal. I spent 3 years in Miami and I won't go back.

I wish there was something else I can do but I dont how else to post a meet about this, the police should be there to and we know somewhat about the people we need to arrest, but I dont think im going to have the meet anymore, I am not getting any support and more **** talk. I cant post up pics cause I dont have a digicam, or a scanner, I cant afford it right now I am trying to finish my type r and I have my house to pay for to. I am really tight on cash. I doubt it is going to happen. I will do my best to stop them and catch them

So what exactly do you raise funds for? Just curious.

Me and my homeboy kinda teamed up with this software company, trying to install and program a new way to better keep our cars at home, A GPS chip where you can track it yourself from your laptop with the program, A 5-10 digit key coded ignition switch, I got a locksmith who is trying to design new bolts with a special key that you just cant buy for some screws for the steering column and ignition switch that makes thieving a honda so easy. If anyone has a 88-00 civic or integra, take apart the steering column cover. It is held by 3-4 screws. You will see the ignition swith on one side and about 6-8 wires solder to a switch held by 2 screws on the other side. Take off the screws with a screw driver, and you can turn on the car from their with any knife, flat-head, key, or just about whatever you had. I am trying to stop this theft cause it is getting out of hand. If my R gets stolen. I am going to go the people I know are stealing cars and beat the living **** out of them and break their arms so they wont be able to steal another car again. I made a mistake with my Si, and it wont happen again. I am not going to let it go and I am not going to make it easy for them

exactly!!!! none of us live in miami. so even if we did support your "fundraising" it wouldn't fkn matter because we're halfway across the country from you. we also wouldn't know anything about your local theft ring, because again, WE'RE NOT IN MIAMI!!!

post this **** on a local Miami board or something. national boards don't give a **** about your city.

I am not asking anyone here to support the funds, I dont want anyone here to support it they aint being a part of it cause in the end whoever supported and is helping will get something if not all back. It is bad here, I am a mechanic and the mercedes dealer next to us had 15 cars stolen in one month and we had 10 stolen the same month. Im just saying that it is out of hand and I just trying to help out other tuners to make sure they can go to the mall and go home and can garantee their car will still be there and not have to worry about missing

Not for nothing buddy, but there is no need to be a complete asshat. People from this board DO live in Miami.
