Its on the head, right below the Dizzy. its ONE wire plug.

Hows the temp reading on your cluster?

The coolant temp sensor is on the back of the block near the oil filter. It's connection is two gold prongs. Don't bother going to the dealer to find one. Try a junk yard.

Oh yeah, it's a bitch to get off so don't break it.

Thats for the gauge cluster, nothing to do with the ecu.

Thats the fan switch

Taken from 7PSI CRX
1 for the radiator fan On/Off - LIGHT BLUE
1 for the temp gauge on the dash - LIME GREEN
1 for the ECU - RED

That reminds me of a one time. I accidentally snapped the 2 wire coolant sensor (ECU one) when removing the head. And in the same time when i picked OEM honda gaskets up. I asked about the sensor, lol it was 78€ (ab. $83) for a small sensor.

Then i bought another head for spare, and got all the sensors with it. Even the old one still worked.

How do you know all the wires are ok, did you test them ? You can test the sensor with a dvom and it will tell you if it is fine or not.
