Default Block Guard

ok im doing a fully built all motor D16

D16Z6 Head.
D16A6 Block.
Ex Tranny.
Crower Stage 2 Cam, Springs, Retainers.
Omni Power Valves.
All ARP Bolts.
Eagle H Beam Rods.
ZC Pistons.
Edelbrock Intake Manifold.
Edelbrock 65mm Throttle Bodie.
AN-R Header.
Port and Polish Head.
Balanced Crank.
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump.
310 Injectors.
Prostreet timing belt and water pump.

Now my question is i want to run a block guard. people say it overheates your motor and this and that. but with a properly installed block guard this should not happen. is it smart to run it with an N/A system or no ive heard that its better for boosted motors. but i wanted some input before i go out and spend money. i want to be reving out to between 8'500 - 9'500 rpm's. i might plan to run a 75 shot down the road so i figured i might as well put it in now while the block is torn down.

please leave numbers or sites for anything you think is good to use.

You dont' need a block guard for your setup. You wont experience the excessive pressure in the block like a turbo setup does. You also wont push that much power that the block would be in danger at any given point.
The most you'll see in your setup is no more than 180hp to the wheels(not sure of your compression). Many other stock block turbo and all motor setups(D and B motors) run on non sleeved/non block guard setups and push out way more power than 180 so you should be fine with out it.

oh forgot you are using Nitrous as well, but even with the nitrous, stock sleeves are strong enough to handle the power you plan to put it through. With good tuning, those stock cylinders can handle 400hp easily.
