Help! Tough time with cornering housing! Tips?
Im trying to change a bulb in my cornering housing, But its STUCK! Haynes manual says to just slide it up and out but the clips that hold it in are pretty well wedged in , any tips or hints? And no I dont want to take my bumper off!!!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Its a 1995 and I cant get the housing to slide out.....You should be able to remove the securing screw and push it forward and slide out,the clips that hold the HOUSING in are real real stubborn , dont want to bust anything.....HELP!!
ihave had the same problem...drivers side i bust all the tabs off...passenger side the screw is somwhere inside the front bumper, and all thats holding it in are the tabs
does anyone else not understand why the corners are on the same fuse as the interior lights?.....one of my corners is blown, which causes the fuse to constantly blow, which means i have no interior door/overhead light, and i cant install my god damn OEM fogs untill i get that fuse fixed

hehe on my 94 i just broke them off and that gave me a reason to buy clear corners,i tryed and tryed to get it off and it would not come off.might sound dumb but try some WD-40 or some soapy water, i dunno. If they break they are 13 dollars or less.Good luck hehe.
The '94 thru '97 corner lamps are retained by one sheet metal screw on the top and an hour-glass shaped stud / rubber grommet set-up on the bottom (the stud is brass (on OEM lamps) and aluminum on aftermarket replacements)) and two alignment pins in the rear.
When relatively new, the grommet's pretty pliable, the problem is as they age, the rubber gets stiff and often causes a broken lamp when removal is attempted.

The drill is: remove the upper retaining screw and the lamp comes straight out to the front. Not up and not to the side, straight forward.
