Default "400hp in three easy steps", or "How to remain single forever."

So, after two years and about six track days my stock PCV system had been overcome, possibly due to my overpowering handsomeness, but more likely because excessive blow-by had spiked crankcase pressures forcing oil out of the block. Then I "invested" in a endyne breather kit, and to my amazement it seemed to work. Well, for about 15 minutes. I no longer was spewing damp blue/black clouds of oil haze out the tailpipe, but then when I stopped at a light after a few spirited highway runs I almost had to call the fire department. Nasty clouds of burning oil were pouring out every crack on my hood, and I have a lot of crack. I babied it home and found that the Endyne can had filled with oil, and had then evenly distributed it all over my engine (again). Enough is enough, time to rip it out and strip it down.

The Garage (my underground parking lot):

Before she went under the knife:

My brother pondering how I ended up with all the looks and non of the brains:

Out she comes. Don't ask why I did it this way, I think it relates to an earlier head injury I suffered as a child.

Forest showing his respect.

Who is this handsome fellow?

The workshop (my 600 sq ft apartment). Who needs a dining room table anyways?

The progress so far. I hope to have the block stripped by next weekend and then off to the shop.

The plan: Change the.......
pistons
rods
clutch
intake mani
bore the throttle body
3bar map sensor
fpr
fluidamper crank pulley
hondata IM gasket
timing belt
water pump

Am I missing anything that should be done while the engine is torn down????

Thanks for looking. Updates to come as the project progresses.

might be a good idea to get some new bearings and seals too

also get new oil/water pump, timing belt tension, bolt, spring, and belt

btw, which machine shop are you using?

Haha ... I needed that laugh! Thanks.

Ed -- who's still pondering placement/rebuilding of his turbo motor.

How many miles had that setup lasted you? How much power were you making also? Nice pics and good luck in the buildup.
